Abstract:

To provide an electronic gas meter also adaptable when a peripheral device is post-fitted and reduced in cost and installation operations by reducing the number of installation parts.

This electronic gas meter (illustrated by an example as a gas meter 1) is formed by installing a peripheral device installation plate 21 for installing the peripheral device 20 on the side part of the body 10 thereof. The peripheral device installation plate 21 and the peripheral device 20 may be fixed to each other with a screw 22. To fix the peripheral device installation plate 21 on the side part of the gas meter body 10, a nut 15 is attached to both ends of a U-bolt 14 with the socket part 11 of the gas meter 1 held by the U-bolt 14 and the peripheral device installation plate 21. The peripheral device installation plate 21 has holes 21a, 21b for inserting both ends of the U-bolt 14 therein. The socket part 11 is held with both ends of the U-bolt inserted into the holes 21a, 21b.
