Abstract:
To provide an electronic gas meter capable of determining immersion of a small amount of water.
The electronic gas meter 1 includes a transmission circuit 12 and a reception circuit 13, by which ultrasonic waves are transmitted from acoustic transducers TD1 and TD2 and then received. A received signal is amplified by an amplifier 13a. A CPU 14a of a μ COM 14 determines that a small amount of water less than a predetermined amount has entered a gas flow path when an amplification degree is a value equal to or larger than an initial amplification degree with a predetermined value added. In addition, the CPU 14a closes a gas cutoff valve 10.
