Title:
ELECTRONIC INTERPRETER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61228573
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain interpretation between two different languages with high practical properties by translating the sentences containing the character information on an original language supplied from an input means for voice information and recognized by a voice recognizing means through a translating means for each sentence and synthesizing the corresponding voice information to deliver it. CONSTITUTION:A knob is operated to connect switches S8, 7, 3 and and 1 to a contact (a) together with connection of a switch S20. The character signals of an original language are applied to an electronic translating circuit 14 from a character signal generating circuit 13. Then a translated language is displayed for every sentence at a character display part via a character display circuit 15. While the character signals of the translated language sent from the circuit 14 are sent to a voice synthesizing circuit 16. The circuit 16 converts these character signals into sound signals of the translated language and delivers them through a speaker 4 via an amplifier 19. Then a switch S1 is connected to a contact (b) to supply the voices of the original language through a mike 6. These voices are converted into character signals by a voice analyzing circuit 17. Then the character signals of the translated language are delivered via circuits 14 and 15 and at the same time the sound signals of the translated language are delivered through the speaker 4 via the circuit 16.
