PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a mechanical key from falling off against a user's will.SOLUTION: An electronic key 10 comprises: a mechanical key 40 detachably provided in a key accommodation part 21 in a key case 11; a pair of left and right lock levers 51a, 51b detachably engaged with respective engaged parts 44a, 44b of the mechanical key 40; a pair of left and right unlock buttons 55a, 55b provided so as to be capable of being operated on both left and right sides of the key case 11; a pair of slide members 52a, 52b provided horizontally slidably and in an engageable manner on the lock levers 51a, 51b and unlocking levers 55a, 55b, respectively; and an energizing member for performing energization in a direction in which the respective lock levers 51a, 51b engage with the respective engaged parts 44a, 44b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
