Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device capable of preventing rotary operation when an electronic key is incompletely inserted and urging proper insertion.
SOLUTION: Even if locking of a key cylinder 1A by a lock solenoid is released at the time of incomplete insertion when an insertion part 21 of an electronic key does not reach a second slider 31, one end of a second check lever 32 is engaged across a side wall of a groove part 33 of a cylinder casing 2 and a side face of a second slider hole 30 to prevent rotary operation of the key cylinder 1A and urge proper insertion of the electronic key.
