Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic odometer for car that can read out the travel distance of a car while suppressing the consumption of battery, even after an ignition switch is turned off.
SOLUTION: A display device 2 of the car electronic odometer 1 is actuated even after an ignition switch is turned off. In short, an ODO-accumulated distance is displayed in digital at an ODO (odometer) display part 2a, while a trip accumulated distance is displayed in digital on a TRIP (trip meter) display part 2b. Further, when a reset switch 9 is operated during a display duration limit time, the digital display of the TRIP display part 2b is reset. When a display duration limit time is elapsed after the ignition switch is turned off, the operation of the display device 2 is stopped. In short, the digital display of the ODO display part 2a and the TRIP display part 2b is turned off.
