Title:
ELECTRONIC OVEN WITH INDUCTION HEATER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6472489
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent any dangerousness upon use of an electronic oven by holding a substance to be subjected to induction heating with a holding means, while detecting its holding and informing an operator of it.

CONSTITUTION: A pot 7 is placed on a shallow pan 6 and a relay C is energized by depression of a switch 3. A metal fixture 9 is fitted in a fixture 10, holding a grip 8 of the pot 7. At this time, a detecting switch 11 is open, an induction heating relay IH is energized via a detector circuit 20 and an AND circuit 21, and a transistor Q3 is turned on, a RED lamp 13 is lighted, thus the holding of the grip 8 is confirmable. With energization of the relay IH, a transistor Q2 is also turned on, energizing a relay A. Since these transistors Q2, Q3 are connected in series, a relay contact A is opened unless the grip 8 is held, thus a power source will not work. Thus, with energization of the relay C, the induction heating relay IH is energized, a contact IH' is closed, a high frequency current is made to flow into a coil 18, and when an eddy current is generated in the shallow pan 6 and heated, the holding of the grip 8 can be confirmed, so that such an electronic oven that is cookable safely is securable.
