To provide a display control system of electronic paper capable of, in various electronic paper different in display control method, facilitating creation of image display data, data transfer, and display control.
A server or a PC as an information processing means includes an API comprising functions and instructions concerning display control of electronic paper, creates control information, image display data and the like concerning display control of electronic paper by using the API callable from an application program. The information processing means includes a communication function and transmits, from the server or PC, the control information and image display data to a display control module of low power consumption. The display control module side converts the data into a display form matching the type of the electronic paper and outputs the data to the electronic paper. Thus, creation of image display data, data transfer, and display control for various electronic paper different in display control method can be performed.
