To provide an electronic paper display having two display units and displaying data on the two display units, respectively, so that the user views a synthetic image composed of the two data.
The electronic paper display includes: a transmission type electronic paper 111 for displaying the first data by switching the state of pixels between a light-transmissive state to transmit the incident light and a light-absorptive state to absorb the incident light; and a reflection type electronic paper 112 laminated on the transmission type electronic paper in a position away from the surface where the incident light is received, for displaying the second data by switching between a light-reflective state to reflect the incident light transmitted through the transmission type electronic paper and a light-absorptive state to absorb the incident light transmitted through the transmission type electronic paper.
