PURPOSE: To closely contact the ends of lead wirings effectively with the inside surface of a pawl of an automatic inserting machine by bending the wirings substantially perpendicularly to a body, and bending the bent part inwardly.
CONSTITUTION: A bent part which is bent substantially perpendicularly from the body 1 of lead wirings 2 is externally bent. This is performed by bending the opposed surfaces between a stational die 3 and a movable die 4. Thus, the bent part of the wirings 2 is floated at the center, and the end is intimately contacted with the inner side surface of the pawl. Accordingly, the bent part is inwardly bent before formation due to a certain reason, and the end of the lead wirings 2 is not isolated from the inside surface of the wirings 2 even if it is slightly returned by a spring bag after shaping.
