PURPOSE: To obtain an electronic parts inspection system which can prevent the occurrence of erroneous collation of electronic parts at the time of acceptance inspections.

CONSTITUTION: A bar-code label recording the description, type, outside dimensions, and rated values of electric characteristics of electronic parts housed in a parts bag is stuck to the parts bag. At the time of performing acceptance inspections on the electronic parts, the bar-code reader 3 of an inspecting device reads the bar-code label on the bag and a main control section 4 compares the read outside dimensions and rated values of electric characteristics with the outside dimensions of the electronic parts measured by means of a shape measuring section 1 and electric characteristics of the parts measured by means of an electric characteristic measuring section 2. The compared results are displayed on a CRT 8 and, at the same time, printed by means of a printer 9. Therefore, the occurrence of erroneous collation of the electronic parts can be prevented at the time of acceptance inspections and the production of defective products can be prevented. In addition, the productive efficiency can be improved.
