Abstract:
To provide a metal terminal capable of securely and firmly coupling a chip component and the metal terminal, and an electronic component including the metal terminal.SOLUTION: An electronic component includes a metal terminal 30 coupled to a chip component 20. The metal terminal 30 includes a terminal body portion 36 and holding pieces 31a and 31b included in the terminal body portion 36 so as to hold the chip component 20. The one holding piece 31a of the pair of holding pieces 31a and 31b is formed at an upper end of the terminal body portion 36, and the width, protrusion length, or protrusion area of the holding piece 31a is different from the width, protrusion length, or protrusion area of the other holding piece 31b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1C
