The electronic plate making machine equipped with a laser scanning unit 6 which scans an image horizontally and a feed roll 5 which is added facing the laser scanning unit 6 and synchronously feeds a master sheet X in a vertical scanning direction, is equipped with the laser scanning unit 6 which is fixed to a movable frame 25 capable of moving in the horizontal scanning direction, a driving means 35 which moves the movable frame 25 to a position corresponding to margins to be formed, and a couple of light emitting elements 45 and 46 which are fixed to the movable frame 25 in a state of opposing to non-image parts at both ends in the horizontal scanning direction and remove electric charges on the surface of the master sheet X by light emission.
