To prevent water from entering a pot when water is supplied into a tank of an electronic pot or when the inside of the tank is cleaned by a method wherein a lid side of the pot is provided with a cooling mechanism and then the entire lid can be removed from the main body of the pot together with the cooling mechanism.

A lid at the upper part of the main body 1 of a pot covers the upper part of a tank 10 and the lid can be removed from the main body 1 of the pot by a connector element such as a buckle or the like. A cooling mechanism is added to this lid 2. The cooling mechanism comprises a Peltier element 5 for performing a heat generating action and a heat absorbing action at two sides, heat radiation fins 8, a metallic block 6 arranged at the heat absorbing side and a thermo-syphone 7 extended into the tank 10. In this way, it is possible to prevent water from entering the pot when water is fed into the tank 10 of an electronic pot 21 or when an inner part of the tank is cleaned or the like by a method wherein the main body 1 of the pot and the lid 2 can be removed and the lid 2 is provided with the cooling mechanism.
