PURPOSE: To improve heat transportation function by providing, in a device wherein a thermosiphon into which operation fluid is sealed is provided so as to be heat exchanged with a thermionic element, two openings, where the opposite ends of a pipe are opened, at spaced locations in a storage tank of the thermosiphon.
CONSTITUTION: A thermionic element 18 is disposed in a heat insulating wall 15 on the rear side of a body 11 of a refrigerator in such a manner that a heat absorbing side 18a thereof is directed to the internal side of the body 11 and a radiation side thereof 18b is directed to the outside of said body and flat loop-shaped thermosiphons 19, 20 ink which operation fluid is sealed are disposed respectively on the side of the side 18a and on the side of the side 18b. Each of the thermosiphons 19, 20 comprises storage tanks 21, 22 which are provided so as to be heat-exchanged with the element 18 and pipes 23, 24 whose opposite ends are connected to the tanks 21, 22. With this arrangement, openings 27, 28 to which the opposite ends of each of the pipes 23, 24 of the tanks 21, 22 are connected are located so as to be spaced by a distance (d) from each other in right and left directions to improve heat exchange efficiency in the storage tanks.
