PURPOSE: To realize the direct setting of limited time, display of remaining time and decision display of the elapse of fixed time, by using two substraction counters by using an electronic circuit.

CONSTITUTION: By limited-time setting digital switches 3 and 4, each limited time is set digitally and with presetting switch 7 depressed, the limited time is set to subtraction counters 5 and 6. When a race starts and turn change-over switch 1 is depressed by race opponent 1, the counting of subtraction counter 5 is temporarily stopped by clock signal change-over circuit 10 and subtraction counter 6 displays the remaining time of opponent 2 on display part 12. Then, the same operation is repeated and when the remaining time of either subtraction counter 5 or 6 becomes zero, display part 13 or 14 displays that the time is up, thereby stopping automatically. In this way, the direct setting of limited time, display of remaining time and decision display of the elapse of fixed time become possible.
