PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the accuracy of D/A conversion and A/D conversion.
SOLUTION: A switch circuit conducts a selective operation that includes an action of discharging or charging selectively at least either of 1st and 2nd capacitors and an action of selective connection of both the capacitors so that electric charges are re-distributed between both the capacitors. In response to a circuit storing tentatively a digital value to be converted into an analog form, another circuit is provided and this circuit activates the switch circuit to conduct a selective operation sequence that repetitively causes re-distribution of charges by number of times being a function of the digital value to be converted into the analog form and after the operation, a voltage of at least one capacitor is an analog voltage that is converted from a digital value. Furthermore, the switch circuit repeats re-distribution of the charges between the 1st and 2nd capacitors to convert the analog voltage into the digital value.
