Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011121264
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To prevent breakage of electronic tags and decline of production efficiency of books when affixing electronic tags on books.
In a bookbinding line, a tag feeding part 12 is installed in a position just before a booklet and a cover 4 are bound together. A tag affixing unit 30 of the tag feeding part 12 transfers an electronic tag 36 as set in a tray 38 by the feeding conveyor 50 one piece at a time. The tag affixing unit 30 moves an electronic tag 36 to a suction belt 64 from the tray 38 and, while transferring an electronic tag 36 on the suction belt 64, synchronizes the movement with the transfer of the cover 4, and then affixes, by an air nozzle 76, an electronic tag 36 on the cover 4 from the suction belt 64.
