After supplying a signature 16 with a hole of a predetermined number of sheets part where a hole 8a has been prepared beforehand in a throat 12 to a blade 36 in order, the remaining signature 17 is supplied to the blade 36 and is gathered to be a booklet 30 for one volume. At this time, a recessed part 8 is formed in the throat 12 of the booklet 30. The booklet 30 is sent to a sticking unit 32 in the middle of a transfer route 24. The sticking unit 32 supplies the IC tag 4 sent out from a reel 40 to a suction drum 48 to be cut to the length of one and to be conveyed by the suction drum 48. An adhesive is applied to the IC tag 4 by a paste coating unit 50 in the middle of transfer, further, the IC tag 4 is conveyed in the position according to the timing in which the booklet 30 arrives at the upper part position of the suction drum 48. Then, an air flow is generated from an air nozzle 68, and the IC tag 4 is stuck to the recessed part 8.
