Abstract:

To provide an electronic thermometer provided with a method and function for confirming the bonding state of a thermistor, without having to using X-ray tomographic equipment and at low cost.

The electronic thermometer which calculates/displays the temperature of the region to be measured, from the change with time of the detecting temperature of a measuring part, characteristically comprises the thermistor, the temperature detection starting means for starting the action of the temperature detection by detecting the temperature rise, the temperature rise characteristics acquisition means for acquiring the temperature rise characteristics, corresponding to the action of the temperature detection, the temperature inclination operation means for operating the temperature inclination for the prescribed time interval at the temperature rising characteristics acquired by the temperature rise characteristic acquisition means, the inclination determination means for determining whether the temperature inclination for a prescribed time interval obtained by the temperature inclination operation means is more acute than the prescribed threshold, the bonding state determination means for determining the bonding state of the thermistor from the result of the inclination determination means, and the result of determination notifying means for notifying the result of the bonding state determination means.
