To provide an electronic thermometer in order for each of a plurality of users to individually and easily perceive whether a measured body temperature is higher or lower than a normal temperature (the average value of body temperature values corresponding to a prescribed number of times).
This electronic thermometer is characterized in that the average value of body temperature values corresponding to a prescribed number of times is stored therein so as to correspond to each of the plurality of users and that, if a measured body temperature is not less than a prescribed value, a display part is caused to produce a display to that effect or an alarm is raised. This thermometer is characterized by being provided with a change-over switch so as to allow body temperature values corresponding to a prescribed number of times to be stored for each of a plurality of users.
