Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic throttle control device having a hysteresis.
SOLUTION: A pedal assembly is composed of a housing, a pedal arm rotatably attached to the housing, the pedal arm having a first end part for supporting a pedal pad, and a second end part forming a pedal pivot arm 26. At least one cam lobe 38 is extended from the pedal pivot arm 26, and a cylindrical collar part 30 which receives and holds at least one coil spring 24 is provided in the housing. Due to interaction by a spring 24 between the pedal pivot arm 26 and the collar part 30 effects a hysteresis. The collar part 30 is formed therein with a cutout 32 extending through the side wall of the housing. The coil spring has a first tip end part 34 fitted in the cutout, and a second tip end part 36 urged to be made into press-contact with the cam lobe.
