Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic throttle device 10 for an engine, which prevents entering of magnetic powder into a throttle opening sensor 40 to cause no opening detection failure.SOLUTION: A throttle opening sensor 40 has a non-contact type detection part 43, and an opener mechanism 50 has a cylindrical spring 53 for exerting opener control on a throttle shaft 21. A sensor chamber 18 receiving the non-contact type detection part 43 and an opener chamber 19 receiving the spring 53 are substantially partitioned by a bottleneck 60 which is formed of an annular wall member 61. With this, even if abrasion powder of the spring 53 occurs in the opener chamber 19, the abrasion powder can be prevented from entering the sensor chamber 18 by the bottleneck 60. Accordingly, the abrasion power is prevented from adhering to the non-contact type detection part 43 of the throttle opening sensor 40, and a highly-accurate opening detection function can be maintained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
