CONSTITUTION: This electronic time piece has a quartz oscillator 1 whose frequency temperature characteristic gives almost curves of secondary degree ΔfL and ΔfH, a division circuit 2 for preparing a time counting unit signal from a quartz oscillation output, a temperature measuring circuit 12, a time sharing circuit 5 for controlling oscillation frequency, a circuit 11 for making a time range proportional to the squaring of numerical information T for temperature measurement, a counter 7 for measuring the pulse width of a square output signal, a counter 8 for counting a carry signal from the counter 7 and an interrupt circuit 6 for controlling the operation of a division circuit 2. The circuits 5 and 6 are controlled separately based on information values in the upper digit and the lower digit to correct individual operations of the oscillator 1 and the division circuit 2.
