Title:
ELECTRONIC TIME PIECE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP61088181
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of external adjusting terminals and to improve the accuracy of temperature compensation by forming a FAMOS memory for holding data in the output adjusting circuit of a temperature sensor and compensating an oscillation part and a frequency dividing part by an adding/squaring circuit.

CONSTITUTION: The temperature sensor 200 is formed in an electronic time piece provided with a reference oscillation circuit 206 and a frequency dividing circuit 207 and the output of the sensor 200 is inputted to a data adjusting circuit 202 through an A/D converter 201. A FAMOS memory circuit 203 is connected to the circuit 202 to store the output values of the temperature sensor at a fixed interval, compensates the characteristics of the temperature sensor 200 from the change of the stored contents and adjusts the data. Then, the adjusted data are inputted to the adding/squaring circuit 204 to compensate the temperature characteristics of the crystal oscillator and a reference oscillation circuit 206 and a frequency dividing circuit 207 are controlled through a logical circuit 205.
