The display device performing an information display based on the output signal of the display-driving means is characterized by including a dot matrix form optical display means for displaying a character in a dot matrix form, having a form that a longitudinal dot number is larger than a lateral dot number in a dot number of the dot matrix form optical display means for one character and performing the information display based on a control of the display-driving means.
