Abstract:
To provide an electronic timepiece that can display the degree of battery consumption, and a method for display of an electronic timepiece.SOLUTION: An electronic timepiece 1 includes: a battery 21; a determination unit 23 for determining the degree of consumption of the battery 21; a driving unit 25 for driving a hand 12; and a display processor 24 for causing the driving unit 25 to switch between a basic function mode as an operation mode of displaying a time by the hand 12 and an additive function mode of displaying an additive function. The driving unit 25 causes the hand 12 to carry out an action on the basis of the result of the determination as to the degree of consumption made by the determination unit 23 when the operation mode is switched from the basic function mode to the additive function mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
