PURPOSE: To integrate a running distance even at the time of running by off of an ignition switch, by controlling only a display based on a distance signal in accordance with on and off of the ignition switch.
CONSTITUTION: When an ignition switch 1 turns on, a signal or "1" level is supplied to a terminal 5a of a control part 5, and when a distance signal is generated in a terminal 5b, the control part 5 executes an integrating operation and supplies a signal for showing an integral value of a running distance to a display part 6. On the other hand, when the switch 1 is turned off, a terminal 5a becomes "0" level, and the control part 5 executes only the integrating operation of the distance signal of the terminal 5b, and does not send out a signal for showing the running distance. Therefore, the display part 6 does not execute a display while the switch 1 is off. In this regard, in a period in which the switch 1 is on, the display contents of the running distance are updated moment by moment.
