To manage and handle electronic money with the same feeling as real money.

A mobile telephone set is provided with an electronic wallet device 9 which is a contactless IC card and electronic money information is stored in a memory 14 of the electronic wallet device 9. A control part 10 of the mobile telephone set when displaying the electronic money information at a display part 6 generates an image of the electronic money which is similar to an image of real money and displays it according to an electronic wallet application program stored in a memory 8. When the balance varies as electronic money is used, the balance is also displayed as an image similar to an image of the real money. Thus, the money image is displayed to give a user the same feeling with the real money to the digitized money. Consequently, the electronic money can be managed and handled with the same feeling as the real money.
