Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate the assembly of a pulsimeter into a watch with a reduced number of parts by combined use of a lighting lamp for a time indicating liquid display for the light source thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A pulse sensor, of a reflection type photoelectric pulse detection system, includes a light emitting source 10 and a light receiving element 11 and arranged at the lower position of a display 12 on the surface of a watch. A lighting lamp L for a liquid crystal display 13 also serves as a light source 10. When measuring the number of pulses, light of a lamp L is reflected on a mirror 14 and enters a finger F on the surface of the case.
