PURPOSE: To make accurate time corrections of an electronic watch with a 30-second distributing reset-to-zero unit, by making it possible to correct a minute counter by unit time only during a constant period of time even when reset-to-zero operation would be done in a state of an error of more than 30 seconds.
CONSTITUTION: In case of a difference of -30W+29 seconds from a correct time, closing reset-to-zero switch SW resets divider circuit 2 and second counter 3 and when the time is late, carry pulse PC is applied to minute counter 3. At the time of an advance within a range of 30W59 seconds, operating the reset-to-zero twice disallows carry pulse PC after one minute to pass through AND1 by output Q3 of shift register 8 and minute counter 3 continues its current state for two minutes and is initialized by reset pulse pr after the operation time of timer 11. At the time of delay of 31W59 seconds, operating switch SW three times differentiate output Q4 of shift register 8 to apply it to minute counter 5 as a carry signal.
