Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic watch capable of effectively showing a user an arrival to a destination of a pointer when performing a fast forward movement of the pointer.SOLUTION: The electronic watch includes: a pointer configured to rotate; and a control unit that controls rotational movement of the pointer. When causing the pointer to perform a fast forward movement to a preset target position, the control unit controls the fast forward operation so that the pointer performs a repetitive damping movement while reducing the magnitude of the repetitive movement of the pointer with respect to the target position as the reference position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
