PURPOSE: To provide the watch which is also capable of controlling other apparatus by generating ultrasonic waves by the utilization of other resonance frequencies of an electro-mechanical acoustic transducer which generates alarm sounds.
CONSTITUTION: To the AND gate 17 of a speaker driver circuit 12 are applied the ultrasonic wave signal formed by an ultrasonic wave generating circuit 13 and the ultrasonic frequency signal having been coded according to the operation of keys 15. On the other hand, the coincidence signal of the alarm time set time and the time from an alarm coincidence circuit 11 and the audible sound frequency signal from a frequency divider 2 are applied to the AND gate, etc. 16 of a circuit 16, and the audible sound signal or ultrasonic wave code signal is applied through OR gate etc. 19 to an electro-mechanical acoustic transducer 20 such as of piezoelectric element, etc. resonating at the frequencies of both signals. Then, the alarm sound or ultrasonic wave code sound is generated from a speaker 21, thus controlling of other apparatus by the ultrasonic wave code sound may be accomplished.
