Abstract:
PURPOSE: To miniaturize an electronic watch while improving its accuracy by using a piezoelectric vibrator where a temperature correcting element for an oscillation frequency has been provided on its terminal.
CONSTITUTION: On the terminal of crystal vibrator 3, capacitor 4 as a temperature correcting element is provided. Thus, this can be miniaturized and a bad influence of wiring is eliminated, so that frequency-temperature characteristics can be improved. Therefore, when this vibrator is used for an electronic watch, its assembly and adjustments are simplified, miniaturizing and pricing low the watch, in addition to the improvement of its accuracy.
