PURPOSE: To raise the generating efficiency of a generation set, to shorten the operation time, and to execute easily the operation by setting the winding diameter and winding volume of a coil of the generating device to a prescribed size.
CONSTITUTION: When a winding crown 2 serving as an operating member is rotated, the speed of a rotation is increased through a rotating stem 3, a winding pinion 4, and intermediate gears 5, 6, a magnet rotor 7 is rotated, and a mag netic flux is guided to a stator 8. By a variation of this magnetic flux, a voltage is induced in a coil 9. Its electric energy charges a secondary power source 21 through a charge controlling circuit 20, and operates a timepiece mechanism 22. This timepiece is constituted so that the winding volume of the coil 9 is set to at least ≥18ml, and a relation of 450≤Vc/d≤800(mm2) is formed between the winding diameter d(mm) and winding volume Vc(ml). In this way, the gener ating capacity of the generating device is raised to the limit, and the operation time is shortened.
