To prevent a reduction in the available time of an electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus having a plurality of power modes has: determination means that determines the current power mode of the electronic apparatus; changing means that, based on the power consumption of the electronic apparatus in the current power mode, changes a method for calculating residual time that is the remaining available time of the electronic apparatus; and acquisition means that, with the use of the calculation method changed by the changing means, acquires the residual time of the electronic apparatus from residual amount information on a battery acquired from the battery that supplies power to the electronic apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
