In the semi-transmissive reflective electrooptic device including an electro-optic material between a pair of substrates placed opposite to each other and having a reflective region and a transmissive region, either one substrate out of the pair of substrates is equipped with a resin layer having a light reflection film formed on the upper side thereof and having a projecting and recessing pattern to impart a scattering function to the light reflection film in the reflective region, and a predetermined protrusion part different from the projecting and recessing pattern on the reflective region and the transmissive region or on either one of them, wherein further the resin layer having the projecting and recessing pattern and the protrusion part are formed with a single transparent resin layer.
