Title:
ELECTROOPTIC DISPLAY DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57169728
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve adhesive properties between a substrate and an electrode and to prevent peeling between both of them, by providing a coating with organopolysiloxane on the plastic substrate and thereon a conductive electrode of metallic oxide.

CONSTITUTION: When a plastic plate is used for a liquid crystal electromic display device or the like, a organopolysiloxane film having two different reactive groups consisting of alkoxy groups except an alkoxy group i.e. vinyl, epoxy and NH2, etc., is formed in 0.01W100μ thickness on a substrate, and a conductive electrode of metallic oxide In2O3 and SnO2 etc. is formed on the film. The electrode is formed by heating and irradiation of infrared rays, after a coating fluid in which PVA etc. are added to a solution of e.g. InCl3 and SnCl2 etc., is printed by a printing method. This way prevents the peeling of the electrode from the substrate and makes a polarized light plate and a reflector easily adhere and join to another side of the substrate.
