The electrooptical apparatus is constituted of pixels corresponding to the intersections of a plurality of scanning lines and a plurality of data lines, and has the holding capacitors respectively connected to the plurality of the data lines, in which each of the holding capacitors includes: a lower electrode formed on a substrate and electrically connected to the data line; a fixed electrode formed via a first capacitor insulation film onto the lower electrode and electrically connected to a prescribed fixed potential point; and an upper electrode formed via a second capacitor insulation film onto the fixed electrode and electrically connected to the lower electrode.
