The electrooptical device has a substrate (10); a scanning line (3a) and data line (6a) that intersect with each other in a display area (10a) on the substrate; a pixel electrode (9a) that is provided corresponding to an intersection of the scanning line and the data line; a storage capacitor (70) that is configured with the pixel electrode and a conductive film (9b) which is arranged so as to face the pixel electrode via an insulating film (75); and a resistance section (200) that extends toward at least one of the pixel electrode and the conductive film, and that electrically connects the pixel electrode and the conductive film.
