The electrophoretic dispersion liquid at least contains, in a dispersion medium: anionic charged graft carbon black particles comprising carbon black particles with an organic group having a nitro group or a sulfone group and an organic group having a polymerizable group imparted to surfaces thereof, and a graft polymer chain bonded thereto; and cationic charged graft titanium oxide particles comprising titanium oxide particles with an organic group imparted directly or via a cover layer to surfaces thereof, wherein the organic group is an amino group via a silyl group or a polymerizable functional group via a silyl group, and a graft polymer chain bonded thereto. The image display medium is formed by using the dispersion liquid, and the image display device (10) is constructed by using the image display medium.
