PURPOSE: To perform rapid separative detection while confirming a migration process, by performing migration separation while a coloring matter reagent for use in detection is moved into a gel like support having a reticulated structure from a specimen adding position so as to follow the migration of the specimen to be detected while adsorbing the coloring matter with a separated substance region so as to accumulate the same thereto.
CONSTITUTION: In performing the electrophoretic separation of the protein components in living body fluids such as serum by using a reticulated structural support such as a polyarylamide gel, a solution prepared by dissolving coloring matter for use in detection, such as safranin O or methylene blue in a buffer solution for electrophoresis is flowed from a specimen adding position so as to follow the migration of the specimen. At this time, Cl3CCOOH having caotropic effect for enhancing the solubility of protein in water may be pref. added. The separated coloring matter for use in detection is adsorbed with and accumulated to the separating position part of an objective component and a separation state is confirmed at said separating position part. By this method, the rapid detection of a minute amount of a substance is enabled.
