PURPOSE: To obtain an electrophotographic developer maintaining satisfactory cleanability and abrasive property without scratching the surface of a photoreceptor during use over a long period of time.

CONSTITUTION: A powdery toner is mixed with fine resin particles having 0.05-5.0μm average particle diameter which is smaller than that of the toner to obtain the objective electrophotographic developer. The fine resin particles are spherical fine polymer particles obtd. by emulsion polymn. without passing through a pulverizing process and a three-dimensional network structure having ≥6×1019 crosslinked points per 1g is formed in parts of the particles corresponding to at least 10wt.% from the outsides.
