An electrophotographic device records a photographed image of an object on a recording medium when a shutter button 31 is pressed down. A direction selection button 34 consisting of up, down, left and right buttons to be used to select various functions is provided, and a control part turns an image so that a direction in which one directional button is pressed down may be at the bottom side of the photographed image or attaches information showing that the direction in which one directional button is pressed down is at the bottom side to the photographed image and records the photographed image on the recording medium when the shutter button 31 is pressed down after the directional button of the direction selection button 34 is pressed down or when the shutter button 31 is pressed down with the directional button pressed down.
