Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03265881
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To release a charge accumulated on a photosensitive drum to the ground by bringing standing still conductive member into contact with plural places of a drum structure and connecting these conductive members with the ground via a conductive member for an earthing circuit provided on a device main body.

CONSTITUTION: In the drum structure 1, the photosensitive body 2 is electrically connected to a drum shaft 3 via a holding member 5. In a frame 6, bearings 7 serve as plural conductive members connected to plural places of the drum structure 1 and come in contact with two places of the drum shaft 3 of the drum structure 1 to be electrically connected. In other words, the conductive members are brought into contact with two places of the drum structure 1 to be electrically connected. In the frame 6, a copper plate 9 is electrically connected to two bearings 7 and a positioning pin 8, it comes in contact with a contacting spring 14 provided on the device main body 11 to be electrically connected, and the contacting spring 14 is electrically connected to the ground G. Thus, the charge can be prevented from being accumulated on the photosensitive drum 2.
