PURPOSE: To prevent a failure in electrifying, and to eliminate irregularities in an image and the blurring of the image caused by repeated use by interrupting plural photosensitive body process units with bulkheads.

CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive body process units of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black are disposed on this electrophotographic device, and photosensitive bodies 45C - 45BK, a corona electrifier 47, exposing units 41C - 41BK, developing units 42C - 42BK, and a cleaner 46 are disposed on respective units. Then, the bulk heads 46 are provided between respective units. As the bulkhead 46, desirably, a conductive bulkhead and a bulkhead having electromagnetic shielding properties are used, for instance, a stainless steel plate having sand blast processing is used.
