Abstract:
PURPOSE: To protect a photoconductor drum from light from the outside and physical defects without mounting a photoconductor-drum protecting cover on a process unit for electrophotography, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A recessed paper-discharging portion 8 into which a photoconductor drum 20 is fitted is provided in the box body upper portion 4 of an electrophotographic device 2 and a process unit can be placed on the box body upper portion 4 with the photoconductor drum 20 being fitted into the recessed paper-discharging portion 8 and also a fixing member is provided for fixing the drum 20 and the paper-discharging portion 8 together.
