Abstract:
To provide a tandem type electrophotographic image forming apparatus which suppresses image deletion of a formation image, suppresses slipping of a toner, and achieves long lives of an organic photoreceptor and the apparatus.SOLUTION: A tandem type electrophotographic image forming apparatus using an organic photoreceptor in which a charge generating layer and a charge transport layer are laminated in this order on a conductive support includes a plurality of image formation units including electrostatic latent image formation means, development means, lubricant supply means that supplies a lubricant to the surface of the organic photoreceptor, and cleaning means that removes a toner remaining on the surface of the organic photoreceptor with a cleaning blade, and in at least one of combinations of the two adjacent image formation units having a toner having different color tones, a universal hardness Ha of an organic photoreceptor A contained in the image formation unit arranged in the upstream side and a universal hardness Hb of an organic photoreceptor B contained in the image formation unit arranged in the downstream side satisfy a predetermined relationship.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
