Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic image forming device excellent in image quality than the conventional electrophotographic image forming device.
SOLUTION: A plurality of image forming sections having image carriers are provided in parallel in a main body, a plurality of exposing means 15 exposing the image carriers of the image forming sections are arranged in the same direction as the arranged direction of the image forming sections, and the images formed by the image forming sections are transferred in sequence on the sheets conveyed along the image forming sections. Main body structures arranged face to face in parallel with the conveying direction of the sheets are provided with positioning members 33, 34 having holding means 35, 36, and the holding means 35, 36 hold both end sections of the exposing means 15 to position the exposing means 15. The parallelism of the exposing means 15 can be adjusted by setting the holding means 35 movable in the arranged direction of the exposing means 15, and the occurrence of a color drift is prevented.
