Abstract:
To provide an electrophotographic image forming member having a high sensitive charge generating layer.
The electrophotographic image forming member contains a supporting substrate, an under coat layer doped with an acceptor molecule, the charge generating layer and a charge transport layer. The charge generating layer contains a photoconductive pigment particle, a coating film forming binder and the acceptor molecule dissolved in a film forming binder and expressed by the following formula and the charge generating layer is present between the substrate and the charge transport layer. In the formula. R represents a 1-20C alkyl group.
